You know these days, i dont have the luxury to go and watch the movies like how i used too..

So..

Finally last Monday,an impromptu suggestion from someone who pities me and date me out for a movie.. We watch Norbit! It was delightful to watch, Eddie Murphy was brilliant in the multiple characters that he played! It wasnt a Super Fantastic movie but nevertheless the kind that tickles your funnybones senseless!

The next day Tuesday, without realising, i had movie marathon going on at home with the family no less! Got to watch Kuntilanak, an indonesian horror movie. Execution of the movie was good, they have the content, suspense, with a hanging conclusion in the end (which i could figure out easily) which is the basic essence of making a horror movie work. One that made you shiver and hide your face under pillow but also not the kind that will haunt you even when you go to sleep! Speaking of which mama got the cheek to tease me by saying 'hai kata nak jadi filmaker, tapi filmaker takot tgk crita hantu eh,tutup muka bawah bantal pulak'..welll i am not afraid to admit that i have a small heart what!!!

Then after that movie we watch Mel Gibson's self-directed movie Apocalypto. Mama wasnt please to see boobies hangin out showing their tits as well as the many bare ass in the movie, still it was a gripping action/suspense/historical film. The plot was straightforward,it was interesting to watch how the next scene unfolds, some of which could make you feel repulse! It was the kind of movie that you would want to watch till the end. As a result, we had family quality time spent while watching this, although as usual Mama being the one who cannot stop ask questions pertaining to the movie. One of the major factor as to why Mama should just stay home and watch DVDs instead of going to the movie theatres to watch, heh yes she is irritating like that!

Lastly,we watch Cinta which my mama boughtt frm JB.. I knew I'm gonna like it the moment I saw the trailer. It promises a different kind of a love story that a Malaysian market would normally produced. And what do I think of it? It was well done, the 5 love stories merged beautifully to give you the message the it was trying to send which is Cinta. Needless to say, tears formed in my eyes without any warning. Tears of heartfelt moments which you could relate to easily. After watching the movie, you would just feel like turning to someone or in fact just call someone up to say how much they mean to you. The soundtrack,I love it so much that a couple of days back i begged mama to return home from JB with the soundtrack cd, and well now suffice to say it's playing on repeat mode especially this current track from the king of ballads himself who always manages to sing songs from the heart..

"ku harungi hari demi hari bersama wajah tak mungkin akan kembali tapi hati masih tak terima ditinggalkan sengsara

keraguan ini bukanlah padamu
perasaan hati masih rindu
kekalutan ini hanyalah untukku
tercari-cari bayanganmu"

Perpisahan by Anuar Zain

I have a favourite quote from the movie itself "Sometimes the one you love the most, is the one hardest to love" ..how true how true, simple words like that can give you so much impact in your life..Think about it..
