Just like my nick in msn, yes im in a state of euphoria :)
No no nothing major has yet to happen in my life.
Its just the simple things of daily occurance in my life that led to this state of well being.

Of late i get to spend plenty of ample time with my family, multiple trips to Mustafa on a spending binge (yes the amazing things you can find there), nenek had finally decided to reside with my family permanently, mama has been baby sitting my favourite nephew which we do not mind at all since we always anticipate his presence here in our house.

Other then this, ive managed to send my last batch of cloth to my tailor in JB.
Im so excited and simply cannot wait for the outcome, i hope it will look as good as i have imagined!

Furthermore, although some people who know me well enough will be pleasantly surprise but the thing is Lis has finally start working out y'all!! Hah! I know i know, yes my detestation towards exercising and going for intense jogging still stands, i loathe how much it made feel exhausted after the whole thing ended. But thanks to Rajan he's been training me and very serious about it (another reason why i cannot be a slacker, friend or no friend). And if you wonder why the sudden determination, its all due to the recent series of incident of me falling (i mean literally not subjectively), and the obvious reason i need to lose some weight and toned several areas of my body. Not too worry im not keen on being skinny to the bones and all but as long as i reach my ideal weight and still maintain my curves (hehe ehem) then im all good la.

What else..?

Well at the same time im learning to slowly love myself more, thus this has been the number 1 reason of me being in a state of euphoria. For too long, i've neglected myself, just too busy caring too much for other people, not that i regret any of it. But i realised that at the end of the day, you have to prioritise yourself sometimes,i learnt that caring too much for other people can be hazardous to your emotional needs. It was a fault i overlooked. I forgot how it feels to be just me sometimes. I forgot what my needs was. So now, im just contented being attached to myself. It can be hard at times but at least it felt great to discover myself all over again. Things like singing to myself silly in front of the mirror, dolling myself up for nothing, laughing myself senseless had never been so much fun before! It felt like redeeming my inner self back :)

And you know what? It felt great :)

The most awesome thing about my childhood friends (whom i've known since my Qihuaian days)is that whenever we all gather together, the conversation picks up where we left off the last time, no matter how rarely we met!

So it was no different when last Friday,amazingly everyone turned up, not only to fill in on lost time but as well as a simple celebration for two of the Birthday boys, Diyar and Faris. Although it was a belated one for the latter.

Of course the unsuspecting boys didnt know that we had it planned out!


The Birthday Boys were caught off guard and yeps we present them with an innovative card, which i thought was cute! Reminiscence of the past and the child in you! I mean when everyone was a kid, who doesn't remember playing with that?!

And as usual, the ladies indulge themselves with cam-whoring. Much thanks to
the lovely guys who took photos and different cameras from many angles. With so many camera flash around, hehe we cant help but felt a tad bit like a superstar!





The whole affair was wonderful as usual! Laughter came in abundance! With me being the butt of the joke for forgetting Su's boyfriend full name, Nas. Thanks eh guys (*with sarcasm) hehe! When it was time to go back, everyone bade goodbyes promising that we will meet again soon!

Oh but then isly and myself still cannot get enough of each other, we decided to spend a little more time at Mac'D Civic centre with Siti and Zul joining us. Matters of the heart were discussed and serious bonding together. Which afterwards we all part with hugs and kisses :)

Haizz, cant wait to meet everyone again! I suppose July we obviously have a reason to meet again, kan kan Suzy?! Hehee

Anyways, in all glory of manhood these boys did cut the cake together! After much persuasion from everyone else, they gave in unwillingly, and as you can tell from the photo below heh they were of course cursing us like hell over a mere contact of their hands!

As im moving and looking forward to new things in my life..

I cant help that once in awhile i recalled that i lost something precious to me..

It still haunts me sometimes that how something precious like that could just disappeared as if it never existed before..

It pains me too when sometimes the thoughts were reminded of all the precious time..

And when each time that happens, i shook off all the remnants memories that i had with this precious before it reaches to the heart and start pinning for its presence again.

If only there is no such thing as bittersweet memories..
Because although how wonderful these maybe, it doesnt change that it is one of
the things that is affecting the will of moving forward and instead it created a sickening craving for something that is already a past..


I digress that albeit all these, you had once been someone precious in my life.
No it wasnt just 'a something'..
As much as you will be a thorn in my memory cells all due to 'the hurt that we went through' nevertheless im thankful that once upon a time you were the one that defined my absolute contentment for everything that was loveliness and therefore you will always have a special place in my heart..

I dont know if anyone was aware of the canadian film Lie With Me being shown here?
Well ive been wanting to watch that since a few weeks back but never got to it until it's run has ended but luckily the best friend called me up with a tip off that its showing again at shaw balestier!!

It's a beautiful love story although i can bet with you that the other 5 or 6 men watching the film were in for the eroctic scenes. Undeniably those scenes arouse certain senses in you, it made me thought how is this not porno but yet the love story behind all the sex was very poignant. Initially i cringed in discomfort while watching them engaging in sexual scenes and since i was watching it alone for the first 40mins and being the only lady in the theatre, i certainly do not want to be perceived like the other cheekopeks, but i warmed up to the plot after awhile, and as soon as the best friend joined me i was hooked on how the story starts to unfold.

It all makes sense you know, everyone discover love in a million ways. And in this film the character Leila falls for David through sex. As crazy as this may sound i do not think its dirty at all. At first Leila lusted for David, they just love screwing each other up often but ultimately what they discovered during this sex sessions had turned into a bonded relationship between the two, intimacy led to other things. Endearing moments became special. And in the end what had been simply 'sex' had turned into 'making love' if you get my gist. It was very real, filled with anguish how both became repulse and not know to deal with the real meaning of their deep attachment for each other.

Besides the very intriguing storyline, i like the cinematography of the movie, warm tones when its depicting happiness and loveliness, blue tone when the mood became needy and solemn, green tone when things get frustating. But what impress me most of all was how those sexual scenes were shot, it can be cliche because if the camera works was not superb the film might end up being a porno flick.

And if we take all the steamy scenes out, everyone or should i say ladies could relate what Leila is facing with the turmoils of her life. I certainly did. Oh even the music in the film was great! Overall i believed the film had been tastefully done.

The dvd of the film has been released actually but i'm not sure if its selling in Singapore, and if you cant find it here you can always try your luck across the causeway you know ;)

Yes i have watch the X Men as well! i find the last stand rather emotional this time, but it was good nonetheless, i was there for the special effects which of course does not disappoint me at all! Anyways hehe yeah i waited for the 3-4 mins of the long credits to roll just to watch that fleeting 15-20secs of hidden clip. It had let out several gasped and giggles of disbelief from people who stayed to watch but then again you've not missed much babe :)

Therefore im so thankful for this new friendship. Thank you especially because i have not been able to laugh so hard with someone for quite awhile. Well despite the coarse voice and the disgusting snorting i made with my nose, you my 'righteous' friend have tolerated quite well :)

My home location is just within 10 minutes away from our Singapore Zoological Garden at Mandai Road.
Sadly the last time i paid a visit to the zoo was more then a decade ago! But thanks
to a kind soul, Faizuli, he was sweet enough to ask Elfy, myself and Baidah along for a complimentary trip to the zoo with him. Although Baidah cannot make it because she had to work, the other 3 still went.

Alas, last Sunday i never knew that going to the zoo with the besties would be so enjoyable and we had the time of our life there, no kidding!

The wet weather dampen our mood even before we reached the zoo. So we thought we'll have our late lunch of nasi lemak (courtesy of yours truly) while waiting for the rain to subside. But still the rainy weather refused to stop even after we were done with our lunch.

Since it will be a waste of time waiting for Mr Sun to come out, we decided to just go ahead and entered the zoo. Lucky enough for the 3 of us we received another 5 complimentary tram & train ride tickets from Faizuli's friend who happened to be working there. Elfy and myself were already beaming that it was a good thing tagging along with Fai so far the trip to the zoo had been free!

To shelter ourselves from the rain,we had our tram ride first around the zoo and it was just nice when the tram ride came to an end because it was only drizzling then. Armed with fish & prawn crackers, sour plums, as well as it was a good thing Elfy and me brought our own trucker caps (which initially was to protect us from the sun and funny eh the 3 of us brought our own shades thinking we could 'melawa' from the scorching heat konon). We braved through the drizzling rain to meet the creatures that lived inside this zoo, it was utter delightment! Oh by the way each of us had told each other earlier what animal we 'must' see!

Elfy decided on Giraffe, Faizuli decided on his White tiger and as for me i really wanted to see the Polar bear! Did we manage to see all 3? heh i'll answer that at the end of the entry, but well maybe from the photos you can tell if we got to see all 3








We had fun here! Believe it or not, i do not have to go down under to get up close to kangaroos! They were roaming freely, and we could pat them! Elfy and me were giggling like school girls, and at times i would shrieked just because these kangaroos can be sneaky! i had one behind me without realising!

Most of the time we were ooh-ing and aah-ing at any animals we came across! I seriously never been close to a crocodile before,it was gigantic,huge!! I was in awe at this great animal without realising that ive been staring at it for quite awhile! Seeing it suspended in the water lazily i scrutinized every inch of its body, saw them being fed, and what saves me from being a part of their dinner was a glass wall that separates them and me!

Oh yeah Elfy and Fai almost got themselves bitten by a big bird with a long beak (not sure what it's called)after i made them attempt to take a photo with it! What a sight i tell ya as they both scurried away! Of course needless to say as much as it was so so funny to me, both of them were cursing at me!


Afro anyone?

Ok these baboons wins hand down being the most entertaining animal to watch!! We spent the longest time here!How can we not? As we studied them, their characters were very much similar to us human! We had fun renacting what exactly these baboons might be thinking! The most exciting part had got to be watching the baboon penis! Sorry for being crude but well despite being a smaller version from a Man's penis, they were very similar in terms of being erected!!! You see the baboon in the second photo above?Well this is the same baboon that we were laughing so hard at!! His penis was constantly erected as long as the small one were looking for lice on his body! It became flaccid when the activity stops then erected again when the small one continued again!! It was so hlarious to watch!

At the end of the day it was well spent but exhausted nonetheless! Oh and yes Elfy got to see her Giraffe but disappointed because it was kinda short (the one i saw in Bangkok was much much taller), Fai was estatic to meet his White tiger and as for myself, it was unfortunate that i did not get to see the Polar Bear!! It was the last animal we went to, came to the enclosure but saw no polar bear or whatsoever! I wasnt about to give up, and begged for Fai and Elfy to spot the bear if there was hiding somewhere, in the end we gave up, but as i was walking away with a glum face, Elfy called to me excitedly that the Polar bear was actually in the cold room, but no i still did not get to see it in the flesh! All i saw was its ass jutting out from the cold room probably cooling itself from the heat!So elfy and me was being a bit silly by calling out to it to see if we attract his attention but no again,it refused to budge!! So there! I only got to see the Polar Bear Ass, that counted as something right no?

The 3 of us went home after we had tire ourselves out and upon reaching woodlands, that was where i had my fall after alighting from the bus! Now im still having the after effects of the pain and fever, the guys both agreed that i had seen too much of the baboons penis, thanks eh!
