Malaysian Idol for this year is a disappointment.
To me that is.
I still cannot believe Daniel won, ok im not a vocal teacher or a music critic to give allegeable opinion.
But at the same time, i can tell a difference between a croaking of a frog to a voice
of an angel, so this is utter disbelief!
Oh well, anyways this season wasnt as outstanding as the first, for those of you who
were able to watch it maybe share the same sentiments..?
This season there was no goosebumps, toe-curling, shiver down your spine kind of thing.
Nopes, nay, zilch, kosong, ilek, meiyo!!!
Even the runner up Nita who should have won because she has a decent voice and an elegant poise (like my mama said she got that chanel look,she's tall, classic beauty and very composed),cannot match up with Jaclyn Victor or Dina from previous season. This season was just a mediorce performance by most of them, even i can sense the frustations from the judges week after week they kept telling the idols to 'up' their standards.
Sigh, ok i mean no harm, or meant to berate nonsensical ramblings but being a fan of malaysian idol rather then singapore idol, i just felt crushed about the results..
++++++++++++++++
So i went to watch Kelab Dangdut by TeaterKami yesterday at the Black box, Sado gendeng's friend was playing one of the roles.
Overall, it's a good performance, (why the hell suria did not get talents from theatre people,honestly they are better), the only weakness was its quite draggy too many dance sequence i think, and yes i read the synopsis and was hoping for a complete ending but then again i do not know much about theatre cant compare it to watching a film. Nonetheless, i did enjoyed myself.
One thing for sure, after listening to Dangdut music for two and half hours i know i wont survive if i go to a real dangdut club (no pun intended).
