Ive started my life as an intern today.. its what people predict being an intern will be, it's not all rosy but i guess the experience is what matters..

Well, its definitely not rosy thats wat i found out today, but honestly im so amused by the whole thing! Yeah really i do,heh its so amusing really how these people have that 'bitchy' persona, you know the look that they have the 'im-a-senior-here-and-you-are just-a-newbie' look..hahaa i bet they have been dying to put on that face in front of a newbie..if i had not let my meek and friendly attitude show,i would do the reverse thing,to stuck my finger in my throat and puke then laugh my head off,'darn are you for real??', gosh i expected this anyway..and how they think that i might be illiterate..? i do know about cameras and how things can be edited, or yes and they think i do not know that they are testing my patience when they sent me to do errands that was really bogus, uh huh i did alot of walkin to and fro,i hope the people workin at the mrt station did not notice me that i have been walkin to and fro this afternoon just because i insisted on using the underpass through the mrt station instead of walking outside in the sun, yeps you should know by now im not used to heat.. i think the walkin will do me good la so i can burn fats thats why im not complaining each time i had to do an errand (well maybe i did cursed and swear one or two times)..sigh..good thing i had the Big Walk last week heh

Overall,i predict this will be an exciting journey be it good or bad. And yes not all the staff there got that air about them,of course there are friendly ones. The task given to me for the internship is kinda interesting as well, not the post production side and i do not want to be picky anyway, so yeah i aint wearing any bullet proof vest, im gonna expect the worse and learnt those precious lessons and to get a taste of how it feels to be working professionally in this industry. And hey im not goin to lie that i do feel scared too but i think its a good thing rite..?

Anyways its very unusual to receive an airmail in the letterbox today all the way from LA, not for me though its for my dad from one of his 'tai-tai' students.. who had not forgotten that he turned 53 last saturday!

Oh and on a gloomy note, have u ever felt frustated at sumone..?esp when u have alredy apologised? and the fact that youve been friends for so many years..?n that i do not make any huge mistake..?its just a miscommunication..?

darnn if u are angry say it out loud in my face, u know me better then give me this silent treatment, its not necessary..so if u are gonna continue to sulk, u disappoint me my friend. You canot expect me to give in evrytime,oh wait but i did rite..?i apologised alredy?!

Haizz sumtimes these kind of things can dampen my mood and the fact that i miss her..

Heloo..! Yes im done with recuperating and i finally have time to update!
And with a new skin to boot as well,i think my previous skin the bandwidth exceeded
so yeah change to this, some of you may find it similar to one of my fren's skin but i wasnt in the mood to go blogskin hunting so i settle for this. Its nice and simple.
No hassel.

So anyway, the reason i have to recuperate myself is because these past few days, has been quite busy but not hectic, oh as well as my whole body was aching like mad!

Yeps ive completed my virgin walk of 10km last Sunday for the newpaper Big Walk, gosh on that day i thought 10km was never gonna end, it was so tiring(well for me at least) and i have never walked that long before! Well maybe i did subconciously la for all my shopping trips that ive done hehee.. Nevertheless im so thankful that i went with a great bunch of people who encouraged me not to give up (because i kinda beg them to cheat halfway and do the shortcut)and pushed me all the way to the 10km mark! I especially want to thank D for being yet again my SuperHero of the day! He was so kind to carry my backpack on the way back(i knowi know!im not tryin to act like a pampered bitch but hey he was insistent that he dont mind since he join us only 5km of the way due to work circumstances)haaha thanks D! Su, Is, Az and Siti was really great kakis to walk with la, constant laughter along the way and we ladies sure had fun talkin abt apples, fruits and balls haha talk about horny stuff man, under the scorching hot sun definitely keep our mind occupied! And yes the guys! Yazif, Faris, Zul and his bro Man and of cos D as well, thank u guys for tolerating us ladies and you guys too are forever funny ppl!

So yeah my overall take on this is, it was not so bad because walking with a big group was fun! but yeah the downside, it was a nightmare walkin 10km and it kinda freak me out they gonna turn this into an annual thingy! haha guess you guys saw my hesitant answer to that kan? haha gosh im not made for this la!! but yeah we'll see nxt yr ok?

Received gd news frm MDA,our application for the Short Film grant has been approved!
Whooopee!!We dun hav high hopes for that but yeah we are still estactically happy about it nonetheless =)

And yeah what makes it even more wonderful was when i received the good news from my fren,i was glad gendeng was there with me,gosh hehe i could not contain my excitement for a few mins it was all about me,sorii eh

Anyways met him yesterday,to pass his gifts.. im so glad he like it, was kinda nervous if he was hesitant about the gifts.. We went to east coast to chill,the satay club there, hmmm,i dont know wats with that place but whenever him and me paid a visit we never fail to have a good time, we banter, we chat, we laugh, we tease..sigh..darn its as if nuthin happen between us..if i hav control over time (which unfortunately of course will never happen) i would gladly put onhold the time and let it be on standstill..just for yesterday..

And Oh he surprised me too when he got me a stylish pair of shades from his trip to KL. i wasnt expecting him to get me anything but the thought of him gettin me sumthg really touched me..
Honestly yesterday,frm the moment i met him,to the time when i gave him his gifts,to sugarcane high we had,and rite dwn towards the ride home, i realise i miss him still but heck,i keep my emotions in control (well done lis)..And yeah there are sum stuff dat we talked abt kept me thinkin..arghh wat the hell.i shouldn't bother myself with this..

It went well yesterday and it felt great,thats wat matters rite? hahah it varies though but well yeah for now dat matters.. =)

**Oh is anyone a fan of Contenders?that show is so inspiring ok in fact it motivates me to start go joggin (i have not done it since sec sch which was 5 yrs back,heh i hate joggin i hate it to the core!!) hahaa lame excuse ok! anyways my fav boxer Alfonso is out,haizz i like him alot, very sincere and humble but he has confidence which is not arrogant at all and i respect him for that! Dun worry Alfonso if u dun make it as a champ boxer i bet Producers frm Hollywood are knockin ur door with offers,haha so dun fret bcos i think u r quite cute and u make a very good lead actor in romance movie!trust me, u got that twinkling eyes that makes me go 'awww..' and that smile which make me weak in the knees!

My mama has been havin an affair for almost 10 years now..
Even my dad are aware abt it,oh wait almost all of our relatives, family frens and her frens knows abt it too..yeps

But hey! its not wat u all are thinkin abt ok! Shes not havin an affair wit another man,darn if she does dat my dad will make sure she will never see daylight again i suppose..hehee

My mama has been havin an affair with Johor Bahru, yeah she and JB (lets call him JB k?i think evryone knows it goes by dat nick heh) are inseperable i tell you. In fact she refuse to shift house outside of woodlands just so she can be near JB,yeps my mama is so attach to JB. One week she have to at least go twice,let me emphasize dat again 'at LEAST'! sighh..

So anyway the reason im exposing about her affair here is because well she drag me with to JB so early in the mornin..!

**ok before that lets PAUSE before i continue. Firstly im really fond of JB,so yeah dats y im ok with my mama's affair. But the thing is i do not like to make a trip to JB so early in the morning!!uh huh i loathe it!! so yeps she has to drag me!ok back to the story..

Well yeah, not only do i hate goin JB in the morning but i was so reluctant to where we are headed,its LARKIN! in case nobody knows what place is that,its a wet market place..so my mama does her weekly wet marketing at that place (her theory is, she finds it more worth marketin there rather then Geylang.more stuff and of course half the cost and as well yeah if we compare the destication of JB and Geylang frm my house, JB is much nearer)..
The thing is im not really a big fan of wet market,honestly..i cant stand bein pushed around in the crowd with BO's of those who certainly did not have taken a proper bath before heading to the market, besides that i hate walking in the wet market as my feet kept sloshing the wet floor, and plus doin marketing with my mama can take ages!! But yeah i do have my moods sumtimes when i'll be ok wit wet market (**i know pathetic!!) so yeah that is when i'll be amuse with all the stuff goin on in the market, like i saw strange fishes i hav never seen before,or darn i saw huge cow's leg at the butcher today! or just plain weird things that is sold that is meant for cooking and made you ponder for awhile,is dat even edible..??

My mama knows very well,dat im not really keen on goin to wet markets but yeah she's fortunate today im not dat grumpy! And i found out another thing abt my mama today, she patronise that place so often, i did not realise that she actually befriended the ppl there as well!

Example:
-The moment the butcher saw the sight of my mama,he do not need to ask! as if there's a protocol goin on! he straight away cut the meat parts that my mama usually bought! and all my mama said was "good la you know,as usual"

-Everywhere she go,there will be stall vendors callin out to her "kakak not buyin anythg today here..?"

-today the market ppl knows that im her daughter "oh kakak today u bring ur daughter ar?wah so big alredy ar"

- plus,my mama get freebies also

- and oh yes my mama knows abt the latest things that happens in the market

hahaha so yeah on the whole i was amaze at the rapport my mama has with them, no wonder she prefer to spend there!

But also theres another reason why i do not mind goin to JB with mama today, bcos i could not resist sumthg at Larkin. Sumthg that made me let all my guards down to brave all the things that i loathe at the market! Sumthg that i know if i ever try to search it in Singapore i could never ever find sumthg closest to it! so yeah wats dat u may ask?

And oh yah,by the way heehe it was a back to back trip to JB actually, today was wit my mama but yeah i went to JB too yesterday evenin just wit my beloved Elfy! and of course we had swell of a time shoppin until we finally realise that our feet aches too much! City Square of course was the location,you can find everythg there! Elfy goes berserk there i tell ya! she bought alot of stuffs! and as for me..heh i finally bought a gift for that birthday boy,yeps i like wat i bought for him, i juz canot wait to give it to him!and im so glad Elfy was there to re-affirm that i bought the right gift! Thank you sweet thing!

So yeah,we spend quality time after that by chillin at Starbucks (bcos we can afford there hehee) and try out their new frappe, which is available in chocolate cream and caramel, we chose the later! and its so sinful!!

Has anyone watch Kingdom Of Heaven yet?

I did.

Before watchin the film, one of the things that im so lookin forward to it was how it will potray Muslims in it. Judging how sensitive it can be due to the present state of how people perceive muslims to be, i assume its gonna spark controversy too but hey surprisingly it does not..i guess Ridley Scott mention beforehand that this film is just pure entertainment, he is definitely daring and of course doin epic films are his forte.

The film is actually neutral to both sides, but well yeah i would like to quote frm my fren Durai he said "Christians look like idiots in it and that Muslims are the peaceful ones" , and i actually agree wit him. Scott does well with this film,frm the way it looks he was cautious about how each scene is to be, like for example i like how he does the transition frm the last battle to the aftermath,it was really subtle,unlike Troy or King Arthur(or any epic movies in that genre) this film do not leave a harsh tone too it..tastefully done..not much impact but i was please with it..

I would really lov to go on yakkin great length abt the film,but tonite im juz too plain lazy to blog too much..

Therefore, to know more go on and catch it at the theatres.. And then after u watch tell me wat u think..?bcos then we can rant non-stop verbally abt this k my frens..?

Today, i had the benefit of experiencing wonderful pleasure ;)
I really want to thank a kind soul for being absolutely thoughtful and a gentleman.

I had been planning to pamper myself after havin a stressful months before and thought why not drag mama along for facial or spa(but budget corner one la)..while askin and lookin for recommendations (also for D but heh if not for u also things wont be led to another ;p), a fren of mine suggested a place and by chance he has a voucher that he has yet used, so he offered me to take it on,ok im not good at accepting this kind of things but since he said it was coincident and that he didnt turn up for the first appointment bcos he was busy,why not i make use of it,hehee it took me awhile to say yes..so yeah it was schedule for today the free facial treatment at Inner Harmony

Location: Shaw Centre, 27th floor Penthouse



So yeah, i still drag mama to accompany me la just that she wont be goin with me for the facial treatment. As we took the lift up and it was quite irritating as the lift almost made a stop at every level,testin my patience i suppose (well its free rite?no complains allowed?heh),so when we reach the 27th floor what greets us left us in awe! The Spa was at the lift doorstep unlike every other level whr there's lift lobby but this one is an exception(highest floor by the way!) it was really posh!!and for a moment i felt out of place (*for a moment only after that i compose myself hahaha)

It was a guilty pleasure heh bcos first all its free and its not my voucher,2nd my mum had to wait for me over 2hrs(but yeah she did sumthg productive la went shopping heh)..it was simply relaxing..sigh..by the way i like the interior of the spa, very Zen concept i like!!the massage was mind blowing,the facial was really rejuvenating,the staff there were very nice and friendly which put me at ease immediately..when the whole thing was over i was really adamant that it had end! i was floating and smiling after i walk out frm the spa..hehe really u noe i guess it boost ur self-esteem these kind of pampering stuff!

Darn i think im addicted to gettin pampered at spas,haizz it was love at first sight..

I wud really lov to come more often if only im a rich man's daughter..haizz but i made an oath,my mama as a witness no less!hehe i swear when i got truckloads of money oh yes i will splurge on spa like nobody's business!!

Pardon this entry,simply 'jakun'!

Its ironic how our lives turn out to be, the three of us, best frens in every sense of the word,though we have so many similarities in interest and character, each is still very much an individual..but wat happen recently to the three of us left me stunned.

All three of us are single now,they have broken up wit their partners as well.. Sumhow i cant comprehend how things end this way. Oh yes a couple of years back when all three of us were single, we were weary about gettin into a serious relationship yet but still we cant help it and wonder how it will be when each of us were to get attach and be so romantically in love. Surprisingly soon after, all three got attached a few months apart! It was the highlight of our lives not bcos we were never attach before but because we assume that this will be a serious commitment (by that i meant happily ever after), uh huh how naive were we rite..?

Things snowballed from then, i guess in a way (at least for my part) i felt we grew distant from each other as we busied ourselves wit our partners among other things.

Now when all is over we reflected back and how we wish we could turn back time, when things weren't so complicated then. And how we realised that we were not as bubbly and spunky wit each other as we used to be..

So we met each other today, and express how meaningful we meant for each other and that our friendship is the most precious amongst all even after we settle down.. heh i love today juz being around both of u ladies as we bowled each other out, and bitching session was definitely a good therapy for us, and how amused were we when we can start washin our eyes at random guys on d streets again (which we didnt get to do much when we were attached!),takin awesome photos wit u ladies, then goin thru our photos during our kentalan days!and how we do stupid things like locked ourselves in handicapped toilet and hopefully not get caught,juz to pose takin pics(for goodness sake!it was like a threesome!the toilet in marina square is very classy ok!!)haha, and its been a long time since we laugh this hard and show how much we care for each other (Elfy sacrifice her time to accompany me to baidah's hse juz bcos i dun want her to go home yet!hehe yes she lovs me dat much!)
