So many lingering thoughts

But there is one thing I am sure about,

AND I HAVE TO NAIL IT.

amongst the other gazillion enigmas (i like to exaggerate myself sometimes) which is clustered in my brain right now.

Sigh.. yes just one out of the gazzillion.

For certain.

You.
It's very hard not to smile just when you came into my thoughts.
Your silly grin,
Your naughty smile,
The infectious laughter,
The frivolous jokes you made,

What's all this,did you wonder?

Just one thing, can i take back when I said, sucking of prawn heads was utterly romantic?
Obviously that was not intended.
It tickles you so much you were choking on your own tears ;)

If you think im judgemental, let me tell you something positive

Your company the past few times has done nothing but absolute joyful to be with..

And that my dear is not 'superficial' at all :)

You are in fact a breath of fresh air. Period.

What's it to you and me?
What's it to anyone?
Who are we supposed to be?

Write me away from here
I need a different now"

I had the privileged to meet the man whose songs I worshipped during my darkest days.

And it was good to know the song Januari which he sang and wrote, was from his personal experience. Similarly, it was why I related to this particular song. The lyrics and tune cuts me deep.

Nevertheless the man was humble and easygoing, a tad small built in size.. I am overjoyed.

The man I meant was Mr Glen Fredly, up close and personal in his hotel suite no less ;)

Tapi sih, teman-teman entourage nya yang lain waduh ada yang ganteng loh. *maximum hyperventilating done!*

Change is inevitable, the question is when am i ready?

Soon.
Yes I have been thinking of making a change, no no nuthing to do with my emotional well being but with regards to the eventual path I would like to expand myself too.

Like they said I am still young.

For now it shall remain vague.

Ahead is photos taken on National Day. Maybe next time I'll upload the fireworks video taken. Heh but dont count on it ;)

NDP'O7 was FUN..

I am impressed with the lightings. One thing missing from the great performance put up by the school kids and different organizations was the narrative voice over that did not accompanied them like the previous years. I am sure viewers at home has a better understanding the meaning of each item performed and the formations displayed because we over there just had to rely on the big screen to read the text followed by random graphics. Too bad they did not pumped in the live telecast as it was shown to homes to the spectators there. It was quite mundane since we were quite lost and bored for awhile.

But of course fireworks was the highlight of the parade! My favourite was no doubt the military vehicles and machines being showcase,it was spectacular!

Anyways we took hordes of photos and i shall elaborate about the parade soonest once i get my hands on the photos by kak sally, sha and hopefully kak mas! I took some shots from my mobile and its quite nice except the quality is grainy.

(I need a new camera! Rajan just tempt me yesterday to get me to invest on a dslr after he saw some of my humble shots in my laptop. I miss photography ya know.. He made me want to consider doing it as a serious hobby, I would love too, eventually. Unless of course Mr LMT would be kind hearted enough to let me play with his Salina can??)

*********

So right now, although my day was splendid I am currently limping :(

Ok this klutz fall down the stairs early in the day when she left the house for the parade. The fall was painful but I willed myself and made myself walk thinking it wont affect so much. I didn't feel the pain at all after that until on my way back home the throbbing tingle in my ankle was suddenly so overwhelming, and i didn't realised it had ballooned up to this

I know its ugly and swollen...and its hurtful.

This got me thinking.. I have work tomorrow, and the thought of limping to work is not pleasant at all. Dad insisted I have to go urut but I seriously cannot not go to work.

Saturday I am going for the Rock Live concert, and Sunday I have a good friend's wedding to attend. On top of having to work both days.

With so much walking needed to be done I dont know if this will get worst, I hope the asam my mama bandaged me up with will tone down the ugly bulge.. All the fun and now I cant even walk properly.

A blur queen will always be a blur queen.. sakit tau... Cant even spin around at all, i foresee myself to be cranky the next few days..

I feel like I am 9 again! The enthusiasm is pretty much like I'm looking forward to a field trip! A major field trip!

As silly as I may sound, and although some people don't give a hoot about the parade, my excitement is brewing rapidly!

Best kan?! Ive already standby my red tshirt. Yes I am that kanchong!

Military machines is what my eyes are all for, sigh must be the post-transformers hangover. I'm into big machines currently!

Oooh and of course let's not forget the fireworks!

Selamat Hari Kebangsaan Semua!

Is it just me or customer service in Singapore is getting worst!?
I am very anal when it comes to customer service and recently there have been a few shops which do not rightly deserve my thank yous.

Cant stand the curt reply they gave when the customer (ME) had been polite and sweet. I hate when they say No each time I ask for a new piece especially when I barely even finish my sentence. Plus the service in the F&B industry is the worst of them lot. Base on my experience while working waiting on tables (yeps I did part time at a cafe while i was studying) no matter how bad my day went, I made sure my service to the customers were not affected. Nowadays, the slamming of chairs, dumping of food on the table, setting up the cutlery set the wrong way, and the one I loathe most is when they can be very rude! I cant mention where because apparently its happening almost everywhere.

Today was another example, I had lunch with my bestie at a bistro and I requested for my starter to be sent much earlier since they said our main course will take 30mins to be served, but the girl which we asked was quite rude brushing away my request saying that the counter is busy and crowded, what the hell?! I'm not asking for explaination it would be nice if she could just reply simply 'sure, i'll check your order again'. The cashier was even worst, ignoring me a few times and yes well I didnt even said my thank yous or your welcome when she unwillingly said 'thank you'.

Is it because of the low wages being paid that customers no longer deserved to be treated with courtesy??

+++++++++++

The sound of the fighter jets flying in the sky makes my heart go thud thud thud! My adrenaline rush was beyond words! I cant wait to be part of the 20,000 people who will be watching the parade at the new venue for the first time!

And well my intention of finding a new red top in JB today (since I had been warned by the people who is going to the parade that I must wear red) was dashed since the sister made me spent my last RM50 on her new vest she's been dying to get for her trip to Esplanade to watch King And I with her school mates. This one sister of mine is getting smarter by the day, sudah bijak meminta membeli barang untuknya pendek kata dah pandai nak melawa! But of course whatever she is buying has to go through my mama followed by me the quality controller, so even if the mama said yes and the kakak said no, it still means No, kids these days I tell you..

I suppose I'll just wear what red i have in my wardrobe..sigh..but! heh I did spent on myself la, got 2 new tops, another new shade, Dvds, and unexpected purchase which I deposited for. I actually made an impulsive decision to make a new pair of glasses. Yeps, my friends would have already known my current glasses is only a month old after the previous pair broke into half but today evening I had fallen in love with the Hugo Boss model and mama didnt help me much to curb me from buying when she said I actually look good with it... Its back guys, impulsive purchase is riding over this month..

Help!!!!

Shoes and bags are the quiddity of a woman's life. There is nothing mysterious to the case on why women can never have too many bags and shoes. Because Boys, there is simply no answer to that. Speaking of which I was watching some episodes from Sex and The City, I love the quirkiness of Carrie Bradshaw (and they are coming back for a reunion!yay!). One particular episode quoted at the end of the programme sums up Singlehood similar like why shoes , expensive shoes for that matter are essential.

"The fact is sometimes it’s hard to walk in a single’s woman shoes, that’s why we need really special ones to make the walk more fun!"

I had a good laugh with that one!

Anyways I have been laughing a lot, an over dosage of exultation with girlfriends the past few days! One has spoilt me by pampering me once again on Wednesday, the next day it was uber thrilling to make a pit stop to town after work with the agenda of going borders was simply too temptful to resist! Sizzling conversations over sizzling dinner, music for my soul, scouting for cute man and yes one girlfriend is already married. Very educational! Amidst the giggles of whatnots i am still in awe that the Scotts shopping centre is no longer there! This gundu was clueless! On Friday, is TGIF lunch with the whole wacky bunch, laughing over penis fish (men pls do not pee wee in the amazon river hor hehe) basically its like a mini congregation of the feminist movement. 7 babes crowding over a small coffee table for lunch, madness! Gadget tech shopping for a bit before heading home and dozing off in the bus like Ive never slept in 10 days! Got home piggin in to the double mushroom swiss burger while watching Sex and The City.

Aahh the excitement and buzz of not belonging to someone is bliss at times like this (or i might be boosting up the happy pills to live up my life after the recent discovery).. Hehe in fact earlier in the evening Kak Mas was telling me a guy was checking me out with his girlfriend by his side, now tsk tsk this is not encouraged but im flattered and mentioned to her i could have belted out the pussycat dolls tune right then

"dont you wish your girlfriend was hot like me? don cha!" hahaa but of course i sung that in my utmost out-of-melody voice. So no she was laughing her head off because of my persistence that i do have a 'sing-a-ble' (no such word) voice!

Hehehhee someone needs to slap me!

I'm looking forward to the weekend! And I cant wait for next week for the nation's birthday bash!

Alright im heading out for more girlfriend love with my bestie!

Good day everyone!

The sexiest thing your man can say to you is

'I'll love you when your hair turns grey girl
I still want you if you gained a little weight, yeah
The way I feel for you will always be the same
Just as long as your love don't change (no)
I was meant for you and you were meant for me, yeah
And I make sure that I'll be everything you need, Yeah
Girl the way we are is how it's gonna be
Just as long as your love don't change'

Ahh Musiq .. he has been my faithful companion with the recent downpour, double that up with caffeine, he made my toes curl. It was something which kept my sanity in tact despite the instances which faltered my ego. I am indeed jaded with hopes and promises.

I think I am in a better control of myself more then ever.
